At Play Cafe

Jack and I went to At Play Cafe with a bunch of our neighbors this week and Jack had a blast! At the cafe, parents can eat and drink, while the kids play and are supervised!

Jack was a little nervous with me sitting down at a table away from him, so I played with him for the first hour, and then he had warmed up enough that he could play without me. Jack was very timid at first, but after the first hour, he was running around everywhere, and even going on a huge slide all by himself (on his belly)!

He also fell in love with one of the child care ladies - you can see her behind him when he was getting ready to go down on the slide. We went back for a second time today and he definitely remembered her! It is so fun to see him connect and have a lot of fun with her.

Frying Pan Park

We went to Frying Pan Park for the second time and had a blast! Jack was definitely more interested in the animals this time, and was brave enough to even try to stick his hand into a few of the animal pens - scary! We have to keep a close eye on this kiddo!

They also had a playground there and we had some fun running around. Jack is getting more and more comfortable venturing off to try new things without his Mama at his side. He is at the peak of stranger anxiety right now, but the more we keep introducing him to new people, the better he is getting!

"Stinky"

Jack starts laughing, hysterically, anytime you say "Stinky", "Sparkly", "Salty", etc. He is in love with those words right now and we can't get enough of his giggles!

15 Months

We had a great Labor Day Weekend...loved the extra time with Dave, and the beautiful weather! We spent a bunch of time outdoors at friends BBQ's and one of Jack's friends had a birthday party. Jack loved having cake again!

So excited that he is getting some pizza!
