Last week we had some terrible weather AND a nasty virus going around at our house, so we were stuck indoors for a few days. It was a little rough because Jack Jack was cutting 4 more teeth, but overall we had some great indoor activities! On one of the days, Jack and I decided to make some bread. I figured it would take up some time, it was "safe" if he decided to eat it before it was cooked, and we would have wonderful warm bread when it was all over!
I thought he would really like the dough because a) I loved raw dough as a child, and b) he eats everything in sight, food or not. Lately, we have been catching Jack eating his aquaphor (which is baby petroleum jelly), his baby lotion, a candle, and there was an attempt to eat deodorant. I think I have the kid that is going to be eating the paste glue at Kindergarten!! So needless to say, we have to up our child-proofing game A LOT! This weekend we will be installing baby locks on most anything that will sit still.
But back to the bread! Here is Jack, so excited to be helping out at the kitchen counter! He poured all the dry goods into the bowl and didn't spill!

Looking at the bread ball. He did NOT want to eat any, and he was very uninterested in touching the dough.

So excited to be helping!

Checking out the Mac...he loves to go to Sesamestreet.com!

Today was "Teddybear Day" at school and Jack brought his Pooh bear! He loves to give Pooh hugs and kisses. This was right before he left to go to school.
