Snow and Sick Days

Jack had his first real fever this weekend - 102.5. Our whole household came down with what we think is the flu. Jack handled it the best out of all of us - by far. We are all starting to feel better slowly. Even when sick and stuck in the house, Jack still wanted his photo taken!

Jack is a sitting champ now, and I think he knows how proud of him we are for sitting on his own because his whole face lights up whenever he sits!

Jack is also constantly trying to take off his socks and at a playdate last week, he tried to take off other babies socks :)

Whenever I look at Jack in person, I see a lot of my Mom/the Moore family, but in photos I see Dave.

I am trying to teach Jack how to turn lights on and off. Also, every morning we go to his closet and pick out an outfit for the day. I humor him and tell him that he can pick what he wants to wear. For the last week or so, he always reaches for the same thing - the leather jacket that my Dad gave Jack. I will have to put some photos of him in it on the web soon.

The pic below was taken on an unusually warm day, hence why I let him go without socks. I constantly check his feet to make sure they are still warm, and no, I do not let him go without socks if it is cold.

This is actually our neighbors house across the street. We have the same model house though so you get the idea of what our house looks like!
