Don't say SNOW

The word "snow" has become an ugly, dirty, 4 letter word in our house lately. We have been trapped here for days, coming up on a week, from all the @#$% snow!

Normally we are supposed to get about 12" here a year. 12" is cute. It's fun and easy to shovel, and gives you that 'taste' of snow that satisfies you, and most importantly, it quickly melts so you can move onto Spring.

This year, we have had a freak year, and have had 75" of snow (measured from Dulles Airport). That is 6x what we are supposed to have. Last Friday, we had 28" of snow at one time, and right when the roads were set to be safe again, on Wednesday, another 10".

We are so ready to get out again. Maybe by this weekend? Spring cannot get here fast enough.

But enough about the snow, here are some pics of the cutest kid in the whole world!

Jack is now over his high chair and wants to eat at the big people table. He loves his booster, uses a fork fairly well and is working on a spoon. I was worried about letting him use plates, but he doesn't throw them so it's been a huge success! He is such a good and easy kid.

"Give me the camera Mama!"

I ventured outside for some fresh air and to get some pics of the snow.

The animal tracks are from a little bunny that runs around the neighborhood. He sleeps underneath our porch. I hope he survived the snow storm.

Dave shoveling for the millionth time this winter season.

After shoveling, the snow piles reached about 5 feet!
