Tropical Storm Fay has been hanging out in Central Florida since Monday, and is still here today. Dave is out of town again this week, so thankfully our friends Brent and Sarah were kind enough to let me ride out the worst part of the storm at their house. I packed a 1 week supply of food, water, clothing, formula, etc. into the back of the car, it took a few hours to pack up. At this point, the forecasters still thought Fay was going to turn into a hurricane. However, after arriving at Brent and Sarah's, it turned into tropical DRIZZLE Fay. Unfortunately a few days later, Fay has decided to cross back over Florida AGAIN, and we went without power for 3 hours and it has been raining non-stop. Thankfully, we have power again, and no flooding!
On a more positive note, this last week Jack went to his first birthday party! Mary Grace turned one, and she had a fabulous party. We all enjoyed the fun!
