Tomorrow I am 36 weeks pregnant! I never thought I would make it this far, but I had hoped. It's not as miserable as I expected it to be. I am definitely struggling to get around (the stairs get me so winded!), but I honestly feel better than I thought I would. Beating pre-term labor definitely changes your perspective on everything! I am grateful to be huge and uncomfortable., but I am also looking forward to meeting our new little guy and also having some energy back so I can run around and be crazy with Jack Jack!
Jack has totally turned into a 2 year old lately. He has new words every day, and loves to tell you "NO!". He has his routines and does not like ANYTHING messing them up. I am so thankful that I didn't have to spend my whole pregnancy with a 2 year old. Back in December, when I was first pregnant, Jack was this cuddly little 18 month old who still took 2 NAPS A DAY, and thought his kitchen/legos were the best thing ever and would play with them quietly for sometimes up to an hour. By himself on the floor. It definitely made my first/second trimester bearable, and I really don't know how people handle pregnancies with older children running around.
Some pics below of Jack playing with his best buddy Braden. Another one of Jack at the park. I almost melted that day from the heat, but Jack had fun!
